no glamour and glitz tonite, i know i know, im really slacking. and i didnt get around to naming all the correct voters cos there were SO many of you. i might stop doing it all together just so we can build up the suspense for the last couple of weeks. there are... two people tied for first? keep voting!

i would just like to say that just because paris is gone now doesnt mean that she still cant be my idol. haha.

I'm not a Katharine hater, really! In fact I posted a comment saying I think she actually had the best song last week--but she also had the worst as well. ^^'

This week she did okay first song, but totally blew her second--I mean that should have been a soft tender song, and she sang it like it was a power ballad--no real emotion or style. Over sang it.

On merits alone? Who else could go home? Elliot was the underdog, and yet he put on performances that showed he meant business. Chris, was well, Chris. Personally his voice annoys me, but he's definitely talented. Taylor did what Taylor does best: entertained (in fun way) with his first song (though I don't think vocally that good), and came back with a strong vocal on the second.

If Katharine does go home, Randy called this competition way back--the guys being the favs.

we know we know, you're not a katharine hater. plus the girl last week was totally off her mark in a lot of her comments. i keep trying to emphasize to people just because someone is your favorite doesnt mean you should shoot down others because they dont agree with you. and vice versa.

but anyway... i think she has a good range and all but like you said can over sing alot of the soft and tender moments of the song. the power house voice that she posesses reminds me a little bit of mandissa's over zealous vocals. sometimes i felt like she was screaming at me instead of singing the song. i love taylor but i also liked him when he wasnt so "manic" as simon likes to put it, a couple weeks back. he was just sitting chillin on a chair and sang his song. just like i said chris should step out of his rocker box it was nice to see taylor a little calmer. of course alot of people dont agree with me but eh, what can you do.

and if katharine goes home, in my opinion, this will be the ONLY thing that randy has called correctly in this competition. haha. but i def. think it'll be a guy top two if not top three.

Taylor: good on the first song, great on the second.

Chris good on the first song (which I thought was lovely). While he was singing the second one, I said to my mom, "It's like it's dead." He seemed to be underplaying it, to me, and I noted that for this interpretation, I definitely prefer the original. (Simon agreed...we generally seem to interpret the same...except when it comes to Taylor's dancing).

Elliott He really does have a wonderful, beautiful, masculine voice. I thought he performed best the first time, however. I could hardly hear him over the band during his second time on stage.

Katharine I liked her first song; didn't love it. She did poorly on her second song.

Predictions: Katharine is going home, and I think we may be looking at a Chris/Taylor final.

I am a Katharine & Chris fan, but I definitely agree that Katharine didn't do that well. I think Taylor did ok, but i agree with simon about his first performance.

I thought for sure Chris & Katharine would be the final two, but after tonight I'm thinking Taylor & Katharine, but not because I'm a Taylor fan because i'm not!

Katharine & Chris until tonight. I'm so upset about Chris that I can't stop crying *it's awful*. I don't think Taylor & Elliot deserve to win, so I hope that Katharine wins it all!
